Concern for the environment carries a heavy toll when soil is contaminated

When our natural resources become contaminated, Western Abatement, Inc. takes extreme caution to remove the hazardous materials.

Heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, and zinc or petroleum hydrocarbons and asbestos can leach into the soil or groundwater, requiring remediation.

Our trained technicians dress in appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to handle contaminated soil. Some projects require us to stockpile contaminated soil in order to be soil sampled. Depending on the soil analysis, the soil is transported to the appropriate, federally regulated, landfill, for either disposal or reuse.
